Expert Summaries

ICASSP-99 will conclude with two Expert Summary Sessions in which experts representing the various technical areas of the IEEE Signal Processing Society will present short summaries of the highlights of the conference. A similar session was held at the conclusion of ICASSP-97 in Munich where it was very well received by attendees.

The Expert Summary Sessions will be chaired by Dr. John Cozzens of the National Science Foundation and Dr. Jon Sjogren of the Air Force Office of Scientific Research. As the culminating event of ICASSP-99, these sessions have been scheduled to avoid conflict with technical sessions, exhibits, and all other major conference functions so that everyone will be able to attend.

The Expert Summary Sessions are scheduled as follows:
